Integration

Our goal is to create a space where everyone can feel accepted and valued. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the fullness of social life, without fear or restrictions.

Family Integration Picnics

Since the beginning of our activities, we have been organising family integration picnics “On Fern Glade” in Opypy, regularly, every month, from spring to autumn.

Our family integration picnics are not only a time of joy and spending time together, but also an opportunity to integrate with the local community and spread awareness about the autism spectrum.

During our family picnics, children and adults on the spectrum, along with their siblings, parents, and caregivers, meet with neighbors and other residents. It is an excellent opportunity to introduce them to our community and show the diversity of the autism spectrum. Awareness is key to understanding and support, so we strive to spread knowledge about this among our neighbors and surroundings.

It is also a unique opportunity for families of people on the spectrum to meet, share experiences, and build relationships. We organize various attractions, games, and activities that promote integration and bonding. It is also a chance for families to find support and understanding among people who share similar experiences.

We warmly invite you to participate in our picnics!

Last Sunday of the month from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from April to October.

In a sensory-friendly location among friends!

Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

Joint outings

Our joint outings are not only a great opportunity to spend time in a family atmosphere but also important support for autistic individuals with disabilities, for whom independent participation in organized trips may be a challenge.

During our outings, children and adults with autism have the opportunity to travel with their closest ones – siblings, parents, and caregivers. This gives them a sense of safety and comfort, which is extremely important in the context of their needs and challenges.

Because the trips take place in a family atmosphere, individuals with autism can freely enjoy attractions without worrying about the presence of strangers or the need to function in a group without family support. It is also an opportunity for siblings and parents to experience the journey together and spend time together.

Joint outings are not only a form of social integration but also an opportunity to develop social skills and independence for individuals on the spectrum, who gradually learn to function in new situations and environments, having the support of their loved ones.

Support Groups for Parents and Caregivers

In our association, we understand how important support is for parents and caregivers of autistic individuals with disabilities. They bear the primary responsibility for care and daily challenges, similar to the situation with oxygen masks on an airplane – they must first take care of themselves to effectively support their children.

In response to these needs, we organize support groups that meet twice a month and are led by a qualified psychologist. These meetings provide a safe space where parents and caregivers can share their experiences, gain valuable tips, and learn from each other.

Thanks to financial support from both the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Municipality and the Grodzisk Mazowiecki District, we are able to offer these meetings at no additional cost to participants. This allows broader access to professional psychological help, which is invaluable in coping with daily challenges.

Invitation

We encourage all parents and caregivers to participate in our support groups. It is not only a chance to gain support but also an opportunity to strengthen your own resources and skills needed in daily life.

We warmly invite you to participate in our meetings, which take place in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
